Boudoir Eyes Palette - Too Faced
Boudoir Eyes Palette:
Something needs to be said about this palette, this was one of the first palette's I picked up from too faced as I ventured into high end makeup from my usual drugstore picks. First of all as many of you know I am a total Too Faced fanatic, so it is very far and few between I am not impressed by their products. This palette I fell in love with, it has a perfect mix of nude colours and a great mix of mattes and shimmers. The demographic I feel is targeted at those of us who know how risque boudoir things are. The names of the shadows I thought totally represented all the frisky and risque innuendos associated with the word boudoir. This palette is also entirely cruelty free!!
As per usual too faced killed it with the packaging, its sleek and beautiful. It comes with a mirror and a 3 eye look pamphlet. As valentines day is approaching I figured it would be the perfect time to give you a look at the palette, and maybe even allow you to drop some hints to your significant other to purchase it for you ;)
This is what the actual palette looks like, like I said above it is very elegant and chic really making it all the more desirable.
Inside the palette are 9 shades of eye shadow, my favourite shadows in this palette are; Satin Sheets, Fuzzy Handcuffs, and Birthday Suit.
The names of the shadows are hilarious and really describe what the shades are in a weird sort of way.

This is the palette in all of its glory, this photo is shown in complete daylight and shows an accurate representation of what the shades look like in the pan.
I'll let these swatches without primer show just how amazing the pigmentation is, and let all of its magic really speak for itself.
From left to right; French Tickler (A true charcoal black matte with very minimal fine sliver glitter), Garter Belt (A true cement matte grey), Voulez-Vous (A shimmering deep purple with a semi duochrome brown shift), Lap Dance (A pastel lavender with silver glitter), Sugar Walls (A soft peach colour with shimmery pink and gold reflects), Fuzzy Handcuffs (A true peach flesh matte), Birthday Suit (A light brown shimmer), Satin Sheets (I totally use this as a higlighter sometimes!! It's a gorgeous champagne shimmer with pink under tones) , In The Buff (A true snow white matte)
This palette is perfect for beginners, as well as for professional use, because you can make so many different looks with it! This would be a gorgeous palette for wedding or prom makeup, but also allows you to create a natural look for everyday wear. The price tag of $45 Canadian is totally worth it in my opinion!
