Too Faced - Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette
Hey guys, so today I'm giving you a review on the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette. This palette does not get as much attention as it used too and I think its popularity needs to be revisited.
Much like the other chocolate bar palettes by too faced it is cocoa infused which is great for your skin to reduce the signs of aging as well as smells good enough to eat.
The pigmentation is great in both the matte shades and the shimmers, and I never fail to create great looks when I use this palette.
This is the packaging it comes in and if you are familiar with the original chocolate bar palette it is slightly lighter in colour
This palette has a great mix of mattes and shimmers, as well as a mix of cool and warm tone shadows
I am going to insert swatches of the shadows because in order to capture its essence I had to get great photos of the shades for you, there are two swatch photos because I could not fit all 16 shades on my arm.
From top to bottom; Licorice, Cocoa Chili, Rum Raisin, Coconut Creme, Pink sugar, Mousse, Puddin', Caramel
I apologize that you can not see Coconut Creme and Pink Sugar very well, I am literally Caspar and they are pretty close to my skin tone.
From top to bottom; Nougat, Blueberry Swirl, Bon Bon, Truffled, Peanut Butter, Butter Pecan, Hot Fudge, Frosting
Blueberry Swirl is such a gorgeous pop of colour packed with pigment and glitter.
My favourite shades in this palette are Nougat, Blueberry Swirl and Rum Raisin. However the pigmentation and creaminess of the shadows go across the board with no inconsistencies in any of the shades.
I rate this palette a 10/10 and highly recommend checking it out in Sephora if you have the chance it is $59 Canadian and $49 American, and I feel the price is total worth it for the amount of shadows you get and the great quality.
