How to get FREE makeup, food, skincare, and household items with little to no work

Hey everyone! I hope all is well, with it being exam season at University I have a lot more time to dedicate to my blog and other social media! 

I wanted to let you guys in on some secrets and tips ans tricks I have figured out in the past few years. Such as getting products for free, product testing and how to build up your blog in order to get sent things on occasion. 

Since you clicked onto this post in the first place I'm going to assume you want to get in on these secrets so here's what I'm going to cover in this post.

2. Websites that send you free stuff to try by doing surveys or giving your opinion or your social media standing

1. Let's start with blogging to your advantage. The time is now people, if you have been sitting around thinking "Hey I should start a blog I want to get free stuff by just writing a post, I'm passionate about this, this or this" DO IT. Start a blog. It is such a rewarding experience being able to do something that keeps you occupied all while getting things for doing so! I started out with no views and absolutely no following, and I will tell you guys it is discouraging for a while, but when you start getting followers and views it becomes sooooo worth it. Understand that you are not going to be sent: products, samples and services overnight. Do not expect to have your favourite brand reach out to you right away (this can happen, I have been sent some pretty cool stuff I wouldn't have imagined in the beginning) they need to see a following, they need to see that you get interaction and they need to see numbers before they will send you anything. Start small, and do not be dissuaded because you aren't getting things you really want. Brands want to see consistency in your posts, set a schedule, let your followers know they will be seeing posts from you once, twice, or maybe three times a week. Companies love seeing effort and knowing that their product isn't just going to someone who will take it and not leave them a review or talk about their service. 

2. This is where I will be listing websites I KNOW personally work and are completely free. these will be websites you need to do reviews on and give your opinion on the products.

Influenster This website is amazing, it uses both random surveys and reviews to select who gets to recieve products to review and it works with A LOT of popular brands. I have received Kat Von D Beauty, Clean & Clear, Rimmel, and Biore products to name a few. It takes little work and its amazing getting FREE FULL SIZED products sent to me frequently. You do not need to have a blog for this, but it does help.

BzzAgent This site allows you to answer surveys to match you with products and all you need to do is review them, whether its a quick tweet or just reviewing it on their site you have done your part. This is not follower based but rather activity based, if you do surveys often you have a higher chance of receiving products.

ChickAdvisor This website has a product review club, basically on the site you do 5 reviews and answer a survey about yourself and they send you emails about products you can test out if you're selected. All they require is a review of the product on their website.

Lastly, you can reach out to brands and companies and ask for products in exchange for a review or product mention on your social media. I have done this with subscription boxes as well as some brands and it has worked out pretty well in the past. Some companies say no, while other companies say yes. It does not hurt to try and maybe in the future you could have a partnership with them.
