The Balm - Balm Jovi Palette Review

Hey guys, today I am going to review the Balm Jovi palette by the brand The Balm. I really liked this palette for both the packaging and the cute little names they gave for each of the shadows. It is clear to tell The Balm put a lot of effort into this palette and I appreciate that. But let me tell you this is not an easy brand to get in Canada at all! I had to finally order it on amazon and the price was hiked up a bit because of it.

This palette comes with 12 eyeshadows, a highlighter, a blush, and two lip stains. The shadows are very buttery and pigmented as are the highlighter and the blush. With how buttery they are though there is a lot of kickback so you need to tap the excess off your brush before you sweep it onto your eyelid (you have been warned lol). The highlighter is gorgeous and is super flattering on a lot of skin tones and so is the blush. I really enjoyed the lip stains but i found when you wore them they were very sticky so not something you want to wear if its windy out and you have long hair. 

Overall, I think this palette is wonderful in the fact it has everything you need to create a full face of makeup. The quality is definitely there and I think as a starter palette even it is a great investment.
